With Odyssey Within Shamanism, you will learn to work in the Theta brainwave rhythmic meditation to step into the three levels of existence; the Underworld, the Middle World, and the Upper World. These worlds are where the Shaman works to receive messages from Spirit and does Soul Retrieval for massive healing for your clients, yourself, and the Spirit of the World. 

Odyssey Within Shamanism will include guidance in working with many tools for the spirit healer, including the Shaman’s rattle or drum, and starting your medicine altar/bundle called the Mesa.

Meet Your Guides

Ms. Meka Nism

Meka is an official Mesa carrier in the Munay ki Q'ero Shaman tradition of the Andes, trained by a Siberian Shaman from a long line of Black Sky White Sky Shamans. Over the last seven years she has served as Shaman in many ceremonies across diverse cultures, including being the voice of the Crystal Skull ceremony. 

Her other spiritual training and practice are in Reiki and ThetaHealing, also serving as a Tarot Reader and Spiritual Life Coach, which have complemented and deepened her Shamanic Energy work.

Meka Nism is an Alternative Metal singer, performer, artist and shaman who creates and collaborates on music, art,  shows and experiences meant to empower, inspire and expand the consciousness of those who witness and participate.

Michelle Orwick

Michelle Orwick is an Initiated Priestess of the Goddess path, in Divine Celtic Faery pathworking. For the past twenty years, she finds herself blessed to be a teacher, healer, and guide to thousands of sacred seekers. For the last ten years, she has been a Master ThetaHealing Instructor and living her purpose as a Divine Priestess.

What happens if I miss a weekend?

There will not be any makeup classes. However, if, for whatever reason, you miss one of the weekend immersions , your next appropriate ThetaHealing course will be offered in its place, ie. Advanced DNA.

I haven't taken ThetaHealing Basic DNA yet. Is there an opportunity to take the class so I can participate in the program?

Yes, Michelle will be offering ThetaHealing Basic DNA from May 13-15th, the 13th will be from 7-10pm EST and the 14-15th will be from 12-6pm EST online via zoom.

Will we be doing plant medicine?

No, while plant medicine is a tremendous tool for trauma healing and deep Earth connection energy work, we focus on altering brain waves for optimum healing states through sound and meditation. For those seeking plant medicine, we recommend having knowledge of ceremony etiquette and customs to maximize any ritual experience for the safety, comfort, and effectiveness of all participants. These details and skills will be an aspect of what you will be learning in our coursework. Recommendations of trusted plant medicine Shamans can be arranged upon request.
